Senior Management Accountant  - Hobbycraft Head Office, BH23 6HG

Salary up to £45k dependent on experience - Pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times.

Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

 

This is a key role within the Management Accounts team. The team is responsible for Hobbycraft’s monthly internal reporting, posting accounting journals and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. The team is also responsible for preparing the annual budget and ensuring that the wider business manages expenditure within budgeted levels.


This role would suit a recently qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA). The candidate must be a competent user of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills. This role involves working with Excel models and using Excel to prepare a set of management accounts. It is essential that the candidate is comfortable working with large volumes of data given the multi-site model, more than 25,000 unique products and around 30 million units of inventory at any one time.
